Art Alley.

An old world urban alley, dedicated to arts and community will be located South of the newly constructed “Commons Building.” Four market stalls are designed for artists, farmers and other merchants to sell their products year round in an outdoor farmer’s market setting. These stalls are intended to be used for guests of the commons, free of charge unless they are occupied during the Summer Farmers Market (in which case a fee may be paid to the Edmonds Historical Museum). Three large panels or a continuous wall will allow visual art to be displayed and enjoyed thus contributing to the evolving visual arts scene in the downtown corridor. It is my family’s hope that the energy and local artistic vigor that is found on our many Thursday night community Art Walks will find it’s way up the street to our Art Alley on a regular basis.
